The main objective was: To determine the technical feasibility of production and economic analysis, identifying operating profitability for the cultivation of macadamia in the Margarita form , and specific objetives: a) To describeDescribe the various technical components operating macadamia production and b) determine the expenditures, income and product prices in the market to estimate the profitability of production of this crop. The farm has 28.3 ha of macadamia production with an age of eight years, which currently produce 30.8 mt. The price currently obtained for each kg of shelled macadamia is 21 $ / kg. During the pre-operational phase, the working capital required is $ 48,497.42. For the first and second year of plant operation (fourth and fifth of the project), the working capital required is $ 131,419.37 and $ 56,610.17. In total, investment in working capital requirement for five years amounted to USD 333,521.81. The calculation of the IRR (internal rate of return), with funding found to be 24.34% and bank interest rate was 12%. The NPV of the project proved to be of USD 502.786 and a B / C ratio of 4.22 La presente investigación se la realizó en la Hda. Margarita Propiedad de la Empresa Reybanpac C. A, ubicada en el Km. 56 de la Vía Quevedo – Sto. Domingo perteneciente a la Parroquia Patricia Pilar, Cantón Buena Fe, Provincia de los Ríos. La hacienda Margarita se encuentra situada, a una altura promedio de 250 msnm, con rangos de temperatura que van desde los 23.3 a 38°C durante la época lluviosa y de 17 a 24°C durante la época seca. Recibe una precipitación promedio de 3000 mm y 918 horas de luminosidad (horas de brillo solar) anual. Se planteó como objetivo general: Determinar la factibilidad técnica de producción y análisis económico, identificando la rentabilidad para la explotación del cultivo de macadamia en el sitio hda. Margarita zona Patricia Pilar, y como objetivos específicos: a) Describir los distintos componentes técnicos operativos para la producción de macadamia y b) Determinar los egresos, ingresos y precios del producto en el mercado para estimar la rentabilidad de la producción de este cultivo. La hacienda posee 28,3 ha en producción de macadamia con una edad de ocho años las cuales producen en la actualidad 30,8 TM. El precio que se obtiene en la actualidad por cada kg de macadamia sin cáscara es de 21 $/ kg. Durante la Fase Preoperativa, el capital de trabajo requerido es de USD 48.497,42. Para el primer y segundo año de operación de la fábrica (cuarto y quinto del proyecto), el capital de trabajo requerido es de USD 131.419,37 y USD 56.610,17. En total, la inversión en capital de trabajo requerido para cinco años sumó USD 333.521,81. El cálculo de la TIR (tasa interna de retorno), con financiamiento resultó ser del 24.34%; y la tasa de interés bancaria fue del 12%.
