Summary:The objective of this research was to determine the pedagogical factors that affect the educational performance of the fifth year students at Victoria V?sconez Cuvi Educational Institution through a bibliographic analysis of the investigation variables. The development of this work allowed the study of the current situation on the way in which the teaching-learning process of the students is carried out and the factors that influence it. The researching used a field study to determine the trends of teachers and students regarding educational performance. We used the questionnaire technique and interview that gender relevant information, which was organized through tables and graphs statistically elaborated the same that allowed drawing conclusions and recommendations. The results of the researching show that the main pedagogical factors that affect educational performance are professional training, pedagogical regeneration and psycho-pedagogical research. These factors are not being applied in the teaching process and therefore affect the educational performance of students because there are teachers who continue to use traditional methods of evaluation and learning, this is because teachers are unaware of these teaching methods and do not have continuous preparation and renewal of knowledge.
