Summary:This research was called "Electrostimulation and its incidence in the development of maximum strength in Olympic weight lifters in the youth category, it responds to an experimental research design of longitudinal cutting with a quantitative approach. The study was carried out in the Sports Federation of Chimborazo and the Sport Federation of Tungurahua in the discipline of Weightlifting, with 13 athletes from each Federation in which there was a control group and an experimental group. The instruments used for the evaluation of the maximum force was the back squat test, whereas for the development of the intervention two electro stimulators were used Tens Unied, Model No. AGF-3E Drive Port Washington, NY 11050. The intervention was performed for a period of 8 weeks; the statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS package, using descriptive, normal and parametric tests for relational and independent samples. This analysis that allowed to identify positive results as opposed to those obtained by the control group in which there was no significant difference between The previous and subsequent data. Electrostimulation and its incidence in the development of maximum strength in Olympic weightlifters in the youth categories positively influences the increase in training loads in the maximum squat since in our country there are no investigations of this Nature as it has been used more in the field of aesthetics and fitness. Electrostimulation is used to facilitate post-exercise recovery, increase contraction speed, improve strength-resistance levels, modify fiber types, decrease residual muscle tension, and provide massage effects.
