Summary:The present research was conducted to identify the levels of nitrogen and phosphate compounds found Huayla Estero, raised the following objectives : To determine the incidence of phosphorus and ammonia nitrogen in Machala Canton Huayla Estero and Analysis parameters algae populations and their correlation with the levels of nitrogen and phosphorus in the estuary Huayla . The results of the Assessment of ammonia nitrogen in the different sampling sites, demonstrate a high lagoon water pollution Huayla, evil pretext served water management, solid waste and wastewater discharges, being the most critical points in the end of the estuary (C1, C2 and C3) are the confluence point where more people. The results of the Assessment of nitrate at different sampling points, the results indicate that there is the Eutrophication water. Nitrate values ​​exceeded the maximum permissible limits in the middle and end of the estuary Huaylá. Regarding the assessment of the estuary petticoat nitrite levels Huayla , these exceed the permissible limits at points C1 and C2. Phosphorus values ​​exceeded the maximum permissible limits at points C1, C2 and C3. By algae analysis indicated the presence of 3 varieties of algae are the diatoms, and dinoflagellates Cyanophytas.
