| Sumario: | The present work reflects on the properties of transmedia storytelling as a tool to expand fiction stories. It examines the possibilities offered by new technologies and media to the audiovisual producer to conceive a wide range of cultural products, distributed in specialized media to provide an expanded, participatory and free experience, in which consumers can choose the order, rhythm and platform in which they will be discovering the contents. The principles and models hereby analyzed will be applied to the design of a transmedia project for the Ecuadorian fictional webseries CERO. For the purposes, other audiovisual-based transmedia projects whose designs are emphatic and aimed at the creation of a committed and participative community are taken into account. Likewise, the threats and opportunities of the Ecuadorian reality, both technological and cultural, for the implementation of projects of these characteristics are analyzed. |
